MFR 117: Accountability Hacks

No matter who you are and no matter how long you’ve been running, you have days when you need a reason to get out and run, a reason beyond the fact that you are a runner, you believe in running, you love to run and you know you shoud run. You can know and understand all that, but on any given day, your drive to put on your shoes and walk out the door may be temporarily missing. It happens to every runner. That’s life, but, fortunately, I’ve got more than a few tricks up my sleeve. That’s one of the advantages of running for 39 years. I’ve needed to trick myself into getting out the door more times than I can count, and today, in this episode of the Mojo for Running Podcast, I share them with you. I know quite a few accountability hacks for runners.

The key is just to get out the door, because once you do, like the popular saying goes, “I regret that run – said no one ever!” I hope these accountability hacks help you get out that door every day.
