MFR 47: Boston Stories

In the face of tragedy, we we seek normalcy and are heartened by even small acts of kindness. Such was the case after the bombings at the Boston Marathon. In this episode I describe several brief stories of runners’ experiences and their feelings. It is not sad but rather a celebration of the goodness of most people. In happy times, character is hard to spot, but in the face of human tragedy, it’s easy to see, and so it has been since that terrible day. The running community is united like never before.
